Schenker tour as preparation for the "Race Across Australia"
One special kind of endurance test, the RAAUS - Team of RC ENJO Vorarlberg undergo this weekend. In cooperation with the transport company Schenker the RAAUS-TEAM organized a bike tour from Klaus to Innsbruck.
At six a clock in the morning starts the tour in the Klaus. The "Schenker tour" is a test for the race in October. Many processes that need to be implemented in Australia, will rehearse on Saturday, analyzed and ultimately improved. In a travel time 8:00 to 9:00 hours, the athletes will cope with the 175 km to Innsbruck. The hardest part of the route is without doubt the ascent of Bludenz (582 m) to Arlberpass (1793 m).
In addition to the RAAUS team will be around 100 people on the bike to accompany the entourage, including the mayor of Altach Gottfried Brändle, his "vice" Franz Kopf, BSV-President Joseph Fink, Federal Edgar Meyer and the Board of Schenker Austria Kurt Leidinger
