Jürgen Egle about the Schenker Tour
After a short break from the Paralympics in Vancouver, I started in early April to prepare for the Race Across Australia. Several times a week hand bike training was on the program on the role in the living room and two hours once a week basketball in the state sports school in Dornbirn. Then in Mid-April, a performance test took place with the support of the Olympic base in Dornbirn and under direction of our sports physician Dr. Helmuth Ocenasek. Because the test results, the training areas have been defined. Each athlete trains for himselve, as often as possible, partly outdoors, partly back home on the role!
The Schenker tour is a great alternative to the everyday training and offers a good opportunity with our team to test some changes and other procedures. Unfortunately I can not be until to Innsbruck, because Philip Bonadimann and I fly to Vienna on Saturday afternoon to an honor of the Austrian Ski Federation.
Greetings!
Jürgen
